The new menu at the Shaw Centre delivers offerings that will elevate your next event.
March 27, 2023 – Ottawa, ON
The Shaw Centre is proud to debut its completely revamped 2023 menu. The menu features a number of items that are traditionally not found at convention centres and showcases suppliers from around the Ottawa area. The local flavours are incorporated into a wide variety of dishes that pull inspiration from all corners of Canada, making it the perfect menu for Canada’s Meeting Place.
Shaw Centre’s Executive Chef Patrick Turcot and his team have curated a culinary masterpiece. Partnering with true artisans, growers, and suppliers, locally as well as those from coast to coast, to bring together ingredients of the highest caliber for remarkably transformative culinary memories. Turcot says “Food is about memories. When you experience amazing food, it creates an unforgettable memory. That’s what I want guests to experience with this menu here at the Shaw Centre.”
“With the Shaw Centre currently holding the distinction of World’s Best Convention Centre, we’re excited to offer this world-class menu to our clients” says Nina Kressler, Shaw Centre’s President and CEO. Kressler says, “This new menu, which incorporates local suppliers and features dishes inspired from across Canada, will offer attendees a culinary experience usually not found at convention centres.”
As part of this new menu, the Shaw Centre is pleased to announce its second chocolate profile, By55 Lait no2. A milk chocolate offers a delectable blend of cocoa beans from the Ivory Coast and Tanzania with notes of caramel and a subtle salt finish. This profile was also created in the same Parisian studio as the Shaw Centre’s first unique chocolate profile, By55 Noir no1. The Shaw Centre is the only convention centre in the world to have two unique chocolate profiles.
