Shaw Centre and Dunrobin Distilleries Announce Partnership

March 22, 2023 OTTAWA, ON – The Shaw Centre and Dunrobin Distilleries are proud to announce a two-year partnership. The partnership is the first of its kind for the Centre, where Dunrobin Distilleries becomes the exclusive provider of premium spirits. The most recent winner of “The World’s Best Convention Centre”, the Shaw Centre is excited to include the local distillery, which has also received numerous international accolades, in its offering.

Through this partnership, Dunrobin Distilleries’ Canadian Whisky, Artisanal Vodka, and eye-catching Earl Grey Gin will all be featured as premium spirits on the Shaw Centre’s bars. Dunrobin will also showcase their Raspberry Black Tea Vodka Soda ready-to-drink cocktail as part of the Shaw Centre’s beverage offerings. The ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktail features their award-winning spirits in a convenient slim 355 ml can.

These offerings will be available to the over 450 yearly events hosted at the Shaw Centre. 2023/2024 is projected to be one of the busiest years since the convention centre’s reopening in 2011.

“We’re excited to offer Dunrobin Distilleries’ award-winning spirits and ready-to-drink cocktails to our clients and attendees,” says Josh Verch, Director, Marketing and Partnerships, Shaw Centre. “Their products will provide our guests with an exceptional beverage experience and showcase another outstanding Ottawa company.”

“We are thrilled to be part of the team at the Shaw Centre and thank them for this amazing opportunity,” says Adam Malmberg, Business Development Director at Dunrobin Distilleries. “Having the ability to showcase our spirits and RTD’s at a world-class facility with premier partners and events is something we are proud to be part of.” Malmberg also adds, “It’s great to see that the Shaw Centre is creating a focus on showcasing premium local products. All of us at Dunrobin Distilleries are looking forward to the next two years and believe our relationships will expand beyond.”

The Shaw Centre’s 2023 menu, to be announced in early April, will include an interactive gin cocktail station, featuring Dunrobin Distilleries’ Earl Grey Gin. Organizers will be able to add this exciting option to their events beginning this spring, and all other Dunrobin products will be available for organizers to add to their events immediately.
